A holder of the U.S. National Interest Waiver (NIW) in Strategic Foresight, he bridges advanced academic theory with practical leadership tools, advancing his distinctive “Planetary Era” perspective that calls for a shift from traditional globalization toward a more conscious and integrated planetary future.

 

His body of work includes titles such as Thus Spoke Arta: How Our Planet Is Entering a New Era (2026), The Loom (2025), Playbook of Foresight (2025), Planetary Foresight and Ethics (2025), and A Transformation Journey to Creative and Alternative Planetary Futures (2019), through which he combines systems science, ethics, and visionary storytelling to guide policymakers, executives, and individuals toward resilient and preferred futures.

 

He is best known for serving as Executive Director of the World Futures Studies Federation (WFSF), a major global network for futures studies and acting as Managing Editor of the European Journal of Futures Research.

 

Based in Washington, D.C., and working across cultures and languages, he is widely recognized as a global voice shaping foresight practice and empowering transformation toward 2050, 2100, and beyond.
