Based in Thailand, Chris has spent over 13 years as a Professor of Marketing and Management at Silpakorn University before moving into consultancy, focused on leadership development.

He started his career as a researcher in the tourism & hospitality sector and later became a marketing and management advisor to these sectors.

His passion lies in nurturing the next generation of professionals, particularly through his work with Thai students, helping them strengthen both their personal and professional competencies.

A prolific contributor to research and thought leadership, Chris has published on Principle-based Leadership and the role of Buddhist and religious values in shaping leadership. He is also a multilingual lecturer, delivering courses and talks in English, Dutch, and German.

Chris has been deeply engaged in advancing our expertise on Eclectic Leadership™—the practice that draws on linguistics, psychology, political science & leadership development.

With his expertise and insight, we are confident of moving closer to our vision of decentring and diversifying leadership principles and practices by creating more space for non-western and indigenous sources of leadership principles & practice.
