Hamilton Conford is a Senior Software Engineer and technology leader, serving as Co-Founder & CTO of Buntu Labs Technologies Ltd in Nairobi, Kenya.

 

With expertise in Python, full-stack development, blockchain, and AI-driven systems, he has built and scaled platforms across healthtech, fintech, edtech, and govtech.

Recognized as a Next-Gen CIO by the World CIO 200 Summit (2024 & 2025), Conford combines hands-on engineering with strategic leadership, delivering solutions such as Afya-Up (telemedicine), Chumvi Invest (micro-investing), Dashless AI (ad performance intelligence), and BuntuCoin (African blockchain project).

 

He is also the author of the upcoming book “Building the Future from Africa: A Practical Guide to Tech Innovation and Impact.”
